Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Member Conference scheduled for February 1, 2007

Irvine, California – December 18, 2006 – The next Member Conference of the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) has been set for February 1, 2007 in Irvine, California. Parker Aerospace will host the Member Conference and an opening Reception on the evening of January 31.

SEA is the joint program office for the aerospace, defense, and space industry supply chain conversion. As a non-profit alliance of leading industry contractors, SEA’s purpose is to accelerate supply chain performance and help U. S. suppliers become more competitive.

SEA Member Conferences are educational forums that focus on the special needs of small and mid-sized suppliers in the aerospace, defense and space supply chains.

Conference highlights will include:

Presentations by supplier companies on the results they are achieving with implementation of the SEA Lean Enterprise System - the business system now being deployed across the industry.
A panel discussion on integrated supply chains
Opportunities to interact with prime and tier-one supply chain executives at the January 31 reception and during the February 1 Member Conference.

Suppliers attending the Member Conference will begin to learn about emerging opportunities for more top-line business in a SEA-branded supply chain - and how new supply chain selection criteria will become the foundation for selecting suppliers to partner with SEA.

Among those scheduled to attend are SEA board members representing BAE Systems, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman Company, United Technologies, Parker Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Sundstrand, Sikorsky Aircraft, Textron, Cessna Aircraft, Honeywell, TW Metals, Bombardier, Hitco Carbon Composites, Firth Rixson, Dresser-Rand, Roberts Tool Company, Cristek Interconnects, Tyco Printed Circuit Group and Smiths Aerospace. Supplier company executives and members of the press will also be attending.
